Our Commitment to Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility

Griffith Group Executive Search is deeply committed to supporting, promoting, and advancing Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (I-EDIA) in all the work we engage in.

We foster a culture of respect and belonging.

We celebrate the uniqueness of our staff and embrace an ethos of acceptance to ensure every employee feels respected when bringing their whole true self to work.

We are thoughtful about the use of language.

Our team has extensively researched how the use of language can be a systemic barrier to entry, promotion, and tenure in the workplace for under-represented candidates and employment equity deserving groups. We engage with Search Committees about the terminology used in advertisements and candidate briefs to ensure an equitable and bias-free process .

We engage in continuous unlearning and relearning.

Our internal culture fosters an environment of acceptance so that each employee feels comfortable bringing their whole self to work. In support of this, we engage in I-EDIA training and workshops on topics such as accessibility training, interviewing for emotional intelligence, and anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches.

We work with our clients to share our I-EDIA knowledge.

We engage in meaningful conversations with our clients to ensure I-EDIA principles are embedded and supported throughout the search process. From reviewing the language used in job descriptions, ensuring an equitable outreach and recruitment process, to unconscious bias training for committees, our team leverages their knowledge and expertise to ensure I-EDIA best practices are embedded in our search process.
