Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Our Commitment to Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility

Griffith Group Executive Search is deeply committed to supporting, promoting, and advancing Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (I-EDIA) in all the work we engage in.

We foster a culture of respect and belonging.

We celebrate the uniqueness of our staff and embrace an ethos of acceptance to ensure every employee feels respected when bringing their whole true self to work.

We are thoughtful about the use of language.

Our team has extensively researched how the use of language can be a systemic barrier to entry, promotion, and tenure in the workplace for under-represented candidates and employment equity deserving groups. We engage both our internal team and the Search Committee in dialogue around what terminology is used in advertisements and in the candidate brief to ensure that the lens through we review candidate qualifications is bias free.

We engage in continuous unlearning and relearning.

As a core priority in Griffith Group’s Strategic Plan, professional development opportunities in I-EDIA and anti-oppression are critical to our success as an organization and as contributing members to society. We speak truth to power, question our own biases, and participate in continuous (un)learning through coursework including, but not limited to, AODA, interviewing for emotional intelligence, anti-racist and anti-oppressive praxis, and awareness and inclusion in gender and sexuality.

We work with our clients to share our I-EDIA knowledge.

We engage in meaningful conversations with our clients to ensure I-EDIA principles are embedded and supported throughout the search process. From reviewing the language used in job descriptions, ensuring an equitable outreach and recruitment process, to unconscious bias training for candidate screening, our team leverages their knowledge and expertise to ensure I-EDIA best practices are part of every search process.

We are a certified diverse supplier.
